irst off I would like to thank Parmalee, Uncrowned, Electric Crush, and especially Whitey and 96.7 The Buzzard for all the hard work that went into making our first show in 2 years a night that we will never forget!  And what can I say about the CROWD?  YOU GUYS WERE FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!  It sure made our jobs a lot easier with all of you going crazy while we were playing. (and all the beautiful women screaming at us didn't hurt much either, keep up the good work ladies!!!)  We had a blast playing and partying with all of the bands and for those of you who missed it you need to check out all 3 of them.  We have already booked a show with Parmalee in their hometown of Greenville, NC on the 16th of September, and are looking forward to rockin with those guys again.

So after the show was over everybody wanted to know when we were going to play again.  Well now I can answer that question with confidence.  We have been given the opportunity to play at Nickelback and Hinder's after party at The Handlebar right after their show at the Bi-Lo Center on the 6th of September!  It's the best welcome back present we could have received and we can't wait to get to hang out with both of these bands and also show them what we are made of!  So I want to see a lot of familiar faces that night, OK?

Once again I want to thank all of the fans for their continued support over the years!  And I finally get to say something I've been wanting to say for way too damn long.  WE'RE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'll talk to ya guys again after the 6th!

Four Daze is officially back and scheduled to play our first show in the upstate with a full band, at The Handlebar. We need your continued support more than ever. We think you will love the new music so plan to be at the Handlebar on the 25th.  We are playing with Uncrowned, Parmalee and Electric Crush and can't wait to get back on stage!

We have finally found an incredible guitar player from right in our own backyard, John (JJ) Van Ladoria from Greenville SC. As many of you know, we have searched for over two years for the right player.  Jay is not only a great guitarist, but right away we clicked personally..  His goals,  enthusiasm and dedication are in sync with ours.  He really digs our sound, and he is committed to helping us maintain our musical identity - not lose it, even as it continues to evolve.  JJ has played with some great bands such as, Serene, Remedy, Spout and Left on Green.  We can't wait for you to get to know him. (Check back for a BIO page with more about Four Daze, JJ and Chris and Justin.)

We have built a new studio and practice facility in Inman, SC, and are continuing to audition drummers to fill the slot permanently.  We have a great friend and drummer filling in on a temporary basis and the show on the 25th WILL rock!

We are really just getting back on our feet, and will have an official CALENDAR online as soon as we begin booking in earnest. We need your continued support more than ever.  we think you will love the new music.  Please plan to be at the Handlebar on the 25th.  We are playing with Uncrowned, Parmalee and Electric Crush.

We have had so much happen over the summer that we want to share with all of you.  The most exciting thing is that we had a great experience in Nashville working with LA producer Bill Appleberry (Wallflowers, Adema, FIngertight.).  He was just incredible and we have some clips of the exciting new music that came out of that project!!  We worked with a couple of musicians that we thought might fill the vacancies in the band, but although it was a great learning experience, we came to the conclusion that the fundamental style differences were just not going to make it happen, so we decided to continue our search for the right players.  We have some definite possibilities so we'll keep you posted.  We are looking forward to working with Bill Appleberry again in the very near future.  He was very supportive and encouraged us to keep up what we are doing.    (Go to the music page for clips of a couple of the new songs.  Please hang in there with us a little longer.  We can't wait to get this band back on the road. We promise it will be worth the wait.  Love/Peace  Justin & Chris

(We will be announcing their names and background as soon as we get everything in place.)  As soon as we can we will begin playing live.  We CAN'T WAIT!  It has been an eternity and we are so ready to get back to our live performances.  We can't thank you enough for your continued support.  We always knew we had the best fans on the planet.  Keep checking back as the site will be updated often.  Love/Peace  Justin & Chris

It is finally complete and ready for sale!  We Must Believe is an 11 song disc, with five songs many of you are familiar with, and six brand new songs written since last November.  As with every band, we are evolving and growing.  We Must Believe is deeply rooted in the Four Daze sound, with some subtle instrumental differences on the six newest songs, and much more harmony and backing vocals. This adds depth to the music while maintaining the basic structure of our sound. We even added an extra acoustic track at the end of the CD. The changes we have made since November, 2003, were necessary.  With the addition of the new players we will be expanding our touring from a regional base to a national one.  We are looking forward to getting on the road again!”  Stay tuned. Peace/Love ~ Justin & Chris

Well it's a few days before Independence Day and we are well overdue on a journal entry.  For starters we are wrapping up our CD that is going to hit the southeast in about a month. This is a 11 song CD with six brand new tracks that we have never played live. Be on the lookout for me and Chris so you can pick up a copy of the disc!  You will also be able to order it online. (More about that soon -  info to follow.)   Our grueling search for the best new lineup of players is paying off and we are very excited about all of the the great contacts that we are making in the north!  Chris and I have basically been spending every waking moment of our lives focusing on our music and the new members. Because of that, we haven't had time to get out and do much else.  We apologize for our absence but we promise you that the band is growing stronger than it has ever been.  When we start touring again it will have been well worth the wait!  You guys are the reason that Four Daze is still here!  You have given us the determination that has taken us to the next big step of our career!  Thank you from the bottom to the tops of our hearts.  We'll see ya soon!
Love Justin   Sign up for notification when the disc is available @ CD INFO.

What’s up everyone!  I just wanted to get on here and say hi to everyone and to let you all know what’s been happening.  Chris and I have built a studio in town and have locked ourselves inside of it for the last month.  We have been working on new material and are getting close to showing you what the “New and Improved”  Four Daze sounds like.  We are back and forth to Cleveland and St. Louis and have been searching all over the eastern part of the country for the right mix of players that we want to join us as we focus in on our record deal.  It’s a little too early to give out any names of the people we are looking at but we will let you know as soon as we can.  However there is a song that we have finished writing called
We Must Believe” that is turning heads every time it’s played.  We are making a lot of noise with this song and will have it up on our website for you to hear real soon.  So please keep checking back to the site for new updates.  We can’t thank all of you enough for your continued support and belief in our dreams!  And just remember without you there is no reason for us to do this.  You guys are what keeps Four Daze alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Peace/Love  Justin

Christmas is over and 2004 is shaping up to be an incredible one for us. We have an offer from a great engineer to record and mix the four new songs that will be on our final demo to be pitched. We have re-vamped our studio to allow for more writing and recording.  We hope to have news on the additional players by the end of the month. We will be back and forth to Ohio and New York, but the next trip will to bring the new players to SC ......Justin & Chris

Our trip to Cleveland was great!  Did some writing and recording while we were there.  Have it set up to meet with a drummer from Atlanta and a killer guitarist from Cleveland after Christmas.  It's looking good.....

November 28 ,2003 @ PJ's
We played our last show tonight with guitarist Lance Barton and drummer Brian Stuart.  Brian decided to leave the band because he needed to spend more time with his wife and son. Our industry contacts wanted us to bring our base of operations to Cleveland, Ohio in order to move forward with the pursuit of our record deal. So when Brian quit the band it seemed like the time to make the move.  Instead of going to Cleveland with the band, Lance also chose to remain in Spartanburg with his wife.   We  wish them the very best - whatever their futures bring .....
